Join us for "An Introduction to Carbon Accounting for Promo Pros," a presentation by Elizabeth Wimbush, the Director of Sustainability & Responsibility at PPAI, with support from Mike Smith, owner of Aclymate. This session will explore the fundamentals of carbon accounting, tailored specifically for professionals in the promotional products industry. Attendees will learn how to measure and manage their carbon footprint, helping them to make more sustainable choices and improve their environmental impact.

About Elizabeth: Elizabeth Wimbush is PPAI’s (first-ever) Director of Sustainability and Responsibility. Liz got her start as the production manager at RightSleeve, then became the Director of Supply Chain and eventually, the Vice President of Supply Chain & Sustainability for Genumark, where she spearheaded their BCorp certification process. She possesses extensive industry knowledge and experience and is dedicated to guiding PPAI members on their sustainability paths, highlighting that through our collective efforts we can positively transform the industry.
About Mike: Mike Smith is the founder and CEO of Aclymate, the one-stop climate shop for companies without a director of sustainability. Aclymate helps companies, measure, reduce, report, and offset their climate footprint without having to become an expert and for an affordable price. Mike previously founded RenewWest, a company focused on developing nature-based carbon offsets and where he led the planting of the largest carbon-focused reforestation project in U.S. history. Prior to his climate career, Mike was an FA-18 pilot for the U.S. Navy, with postings in the U.S., Japan, and Italy, three deployments aboard the USS Kitty Hawk, and 354 carrier landings. He's the happily married father to two great children, and in his free time, he enjoys skiing, backpacking, and sailing.
